What better way to get ready for today’s USA field hockey showdown with Argentina than by reading Yale head field hockey coach Pam Stuper’s blog from The New York Times? The Americans, including the Princeton duo of Julia and Katie Reinprecht, will face Argentina at 2:00 p.m. today in the second game of group play for both teams. Fans can watch the game live on MSNBC.

Stuper, a USA Field Hockey Hall of Famer who guided Yale to a 2011 Ivy League co-championship, will be blogging for The Times throughout the Olympics. Here is what she had to say following Team USA’s opening game loss to Germany:
